Every message on [[Parahumans Online]] that contained the word Scion or the phrase β[[End of the World|end of the world]]β, every reference to a class-S threat, even crime scene reports that raised questions.<br>He pored through them. Some kid inquiring about an Endbringer cult. A case fifty-three appearance in Ireland, with deaths. [[Lisette|A woman]] claiming she could control Scion. Although Case 53s are generally bizarre or monstrous in appearance (barring exceptions like [[Shamrock]]), it appears that over the years the external appearances of new Case 53s have become progressively more "normal". [[Faultline]] estimated that four out of five "monstrous"-looking [[parahumans]] were Case 53s.<ref name="5.x">[[Interlude 5]]</ref>
