==Appearance==
Samples are held in glass vials about as long as a pen and no thicker than a finger.<ref name="I12.5e1"/> They had black rubber corks.<ref name="29.7"/> The vials are usually contained in stainless steel, cylindrical canisters.<ref name="11.5">[[Infestation 11.5]]</ref>

The sample itself is a colored, metallic, semi-transparent liquid.<ref name="29.7e1">Vials lined the walls around us, set into an arrangement of metal wires that kept them lined up, multiple vials of the same color lined up beside another arrangement of vials.  Except nearly every vial was empty.  There was only glass, no fluid inside.
