For this very reason, he throws himself into suicidal situations. He became so invincible that even Scrub's blasts barely slowed him down. This, however, comes with a cost - Ned doesn't even look human anymore.

Nothing pleases Crawler more than being given a chance to get hurt, to the point that he secretly wishes that the [[Siberian]] would try to seriously hurt him.<ref name="I12e4" /> This tendency has been used against him numerous times, such as when he was persuaded to voluntarily stand under a bombing run of [[Bakuda]]-bombs in hopes of being hurt, resulting in his death.<ref name="14.7e1" />

Certain taunts can provoke Crawler and push him to attack despite seeing an apparent trap.<ref>“You’re pathetic, Spawner,” Swansong taunted him.  “I’ve talked to someone like you.  Someone small, trying to pretend they are something more than they are, and doing a bad job of pretending.  The harder they’d try, the more pathetic they would look.
