==Summary== Pained by Snag’s emotional control power, Victoria has to choose between fight or flight. She uses her own aura to escape Snag, but remains afflicted by the emotions of deep loss and hopelessness. Dean and his parents, Uncle Neil, Eric, Mark, Carol, all the people killed or disabled or fundamentally changed by Leviathan’s assault on Brockton Bay. Victoria punches through a door in search of Snag, but he had already deserted the living space on the other side. With the emotion effect fading, Victoria investigates for any sign of Snag’s presence, almost craving the opportunity to talk to him. To avoid setting off the villains' bomb, Victoria tries tearing her way through the wall of the room, only for Snag to crash into her. Though Victoria is now more resistant to his emotional powers, Snag still manages to trigger a minor bittersweet memory from one of her earliest successful patrols. Victoria throws a bed at Snag in defense against his emotionally-charged shurikens. Escaping back into the hall, she encounters Nursery and Blindside. While attempting to defend herself with one of Snag’s broken mechanical arms, Victoria is slammed by a final emotional blast which brings up memories of her time at the asylum. Waiting every week until 2:05 on Monday, hoping for a visit from her family that never materialized. The emotional pain is intense enough that Victoria supercharges a push of her aura, both in her memory and in the present. When Victoria comes to her senses, the villains have retreated and the heroes are injured. Lord of Loss has resorted to “Plan B”: destroying the building. Jasper pleads for her to disable her aura, with the rest of his team huddled in fear. Landon realizes that Victoria is Glory Girl, still alive despite rumors of her death at the hands of the Slaughterhouse Nine. Lord of Loss morphs into a centaur-like combat form and jumps into the fray, while Kingdom Come relinquishes his control of the crowd. The action suddenly stops: Fume Hood has been shot in the stomach by a protestor with a rifle. Even though he was on track to win the battle, Lord of Loss proposes a draw. He will allow the heroes to aid Fume Hood while the villain team flees. Landon and Tempera administer first aid to Fume Hood.
