Editing Interlude 5 (section)

==Plot==
Gregor conducts an on the job interview with his grocery delivery man, explaining his need for such a domestic arrangement especially after his previous employee left to be with family. He collects some sandwiches and heads out.

He heads in to the [[Palanquin club]] to the nod of the bouncer and the credulity of the perspective patrons. 

Going upper level he has a chat with Newter over their expectations from life and previous jobs with their group, in the midst of Newter giving contact highs to some young women. One of them gives gregor her number only for gregor to dispose of it citing not wanting to play into her fulfillment fantasy.

Later he goes into the private section of the club, where the rest of the team is quartered. He gives food to the out of costume Spitfire and Labyrinth. He checks on the condition of the latter with the former.

He finally meets with Faultline who is in the midst of testing her powers. trying to make it effect organic material using sections of pipe with different material including bamboo. Despite using her power again after gregor rearranges the pipes out of her sight and with her eyes closed she still cant manage to create a fault in the freshly cut bamboo piece. despite successfully doing so with its dead dried up neighbor. An example of the [[Manton Effect]] in ation which they discuss including the fact that times of major stress can cause a "[[Second trigger|Second trigger event]]" and change ones powers.

Having heard her complaints Gregor takes drastic action and starts choking her. He apologizes to his boss as she slowly slips into unconsciousness only for him to let up the pressure at the last moment and releash her. Demanding an explanation he admits he was trying to help her by forcing such an event and was completely fine with losing his arm if some new power manifestation caused it to be broken of. Suprised by his candor Faultline finds she can not stay mad at him after that.

Moving on to their actual business Faultline provides a recap about the fact that she was keeping tabs on the mystery of the omega symbol people such as he and Newter had, in exchange for taking a levy out of his pay. She shares that she has found another parahuman with the same marking only this female subject is completely unmutated.

They decide that as part of Gregor's investigation they must find this women.
