==Personality==
[[Dragon]] described Lung as having a "veneer of civility over a feral core self".<ref name="10.5" /> [[Marquis]] described him similarly, and noted that he had broken the "[[Unwritten Rules|unspoken code]]" of parahumans, further he thought that Lung had excellent instincts, although he was better in a fight than over the course of a war.<ref name="I16">[[Interlude 16.z]]</ref> [[Taylor Hebert]] considered it plausible that he would take a group of gangsters to go shoot some kids based solely on his reputation.<ref name="1.3" />

His mind may have been affected by the circumstances of his trigger event.<ref>Peter was still talking, responding to something Kayden had said.  “Drugs tend to create conditional powers. Lung tends to react to attempts at crude emotional manipulation, such as [[Victoria Dallon]]'s fear aura, with aggression.<ref name="9.11IIeE" />

He believed that there was no point in fighting the [[Endbringers]], as they could not be killed. He felt they were better regarded as forces of nature.<ref name="I22.y" /> he preferred to just rule his section of Brockton Bay uncontested.<ref name"22.4="" c1"="">Lung has a high classification but a relatively low level of ambition. He had one powered minion (until early 2011 when he recruited Bakuda) and sought primarily to hold the docks as his territory. Lung claimed that he had grown too used to power to bow and scrape for any length of time, although he was exceptionally polite at first while in prison. He preferred to be seen as a madman.<ref name="1.6" /> He had a strong belief in the power of fear; he was content to remain a seemingly minor villain in [[Brockton Bay]] because everyone there knew and feared him, allowing him to slowly grow his reputation without fear.<ref name="I22.y" /><!--tie in the strong valid in fear to the madmen stuff-->

During his Interlude, he thought to himself that his power's greatest drawback was the risk that he might die before he grew strong enough. He made a vow to himself that he would never die, never lose a fight. He resolved to always defeat those who insulted him.<ref name="I22.y" /> [[Taylor]] suspected that he would resent her succeeding where he failed more than his defeats at her hands.<ref name="28.3" />

[[Oni Lee]] was Lung's "flunky" in the [[ABB]], and his only [[parahuman]] subordinate for a time.<ref name="1.3" />

His subordinates in the ABB didn't protest when he grabbed them, even when it was painful.<ref name="1.3" /> He occasionally lapsed into another language when speaking to them.<ref name="1.3" />

[[Bakuda]] joined the ABB just before the story began.<ref name="1.6" /> His relationship with the half-White [[parahuman]] was influenced by his mixed-race background.<ref name="I6" /><ref name="I22.y" /><ref name="WoG1" />
===Reputation===

Of note Lung's page on [[Parahumans Online]] redirected to the page on the [[ABB]] which covered everyone on the team,<ref name="2.2 e1">I looked up Lung on the wiki, which I had done often enough before, as part of my research and preparation for being a superhero.  I’d wanted to be sure I knew who prominent local villains were and what they could do.  The search for ‘Lung’ redirected to a catch-all page on his gang, the ABB, with quite a bit of detailed information.  The information on Lung’s powers was pretty in line with my own experience, though there was no mention of the super-hearing or him being fireproof. - [https://parahumans.wordpress.com/2011/07/09 Excerpt] from [[Insinuation 2.2]]</ref> and makes no mention of his fight with Leviathan.
