==History== ===Background=== Supreme Earth was an alternate reality that featured villains operating like terrorist cells, destabilizing society to make people dependent on superhumans to get energy, food and safety. Basically put, a world with superhumans that had no superheroes. Takeover on a global level, with non-superhumans as second class citizens. Somewhere between 2008 and 2011 portal in White Rock, British Columbia, becomes a public knowledge, spurring smuggling activity around it. Eventually it becomes a vector for diseases, gets quarantined, and produces Goddess' Cluster. Bianca gets exiled into Earth Shin by Cauldron, and shortly she takes over the local parahumans and the planet. <!-- timeline and relationship here? haywire isn't explicitly linked to White Rock?--> Professor Haywire discovered Supreme Earth, naming it "Earth Shin" or "Earth S". The PRT was aware of its existence, and the potential threat represented by Goddess' mind control was one of the reasons they were extremely cautious of contact with other Earths. Its existence was heavily classified within the PRT and government. ===Timeskip=== There was some sort of breach event in Paris on December 19th 2012 involving The Simurgh. ===Post-Gold Morning=== Its leader was rumored to have returned to her earth to rule it. However, Goddess was in fact a resident of Earth Gimel, seeking a power that was stolen from her, and which she needed for the reconquest of Earth Shin. Shin was a critical supplier of Gimel, providing crude materials, clothing, and food.<!-- does it look as if they agreed on it in exchange for Bianca being kept from returning? timeline is not clear here--> ===Post-Goddess' Takeover=== Local governments accepted reintroduction of parahumans with severe conditions. <!--have to cut this chunk somehow ref>“Earth Shin was mentioned, and if we are dealing with Earth Shin, then we’ve found it helps to have non-parahumans as intermediaries. This is the world that Goddess ruled for several years. She divided it into fiefs and gave control of those fiefs to people with powers. A good number abused the power they had. [...] In just about any way you could imagine. They accepted the reintroduction of parahumans as a purely passive, hands-off involvement, with stipulations. The parahumans would keep to themselves, but they’d act to protect Shin in the event of any disasters or invasion. In exchange, they would be free to settle the Alleghenian Ridge.” [...] “Landmass cutting diagonally through their Atlantic Ocean,” Sveta said. “It allowed earlier settling of their North America.” “They’re spooked,” Miss Militia said. “They saw video of your debate with Mr. Nieves and they’re very agitated by what was mentioned about your sister.” “Amelia Claire Lavere negotiated the peace but neglected to mention any problems or issues in controlling her power. She was presented as a healer in good standing who played a role in averting the end of all worlds. Now they’ve heard other stories, they’re asking questions. Your parents got in touch with you?” “Yeah,” I said. “My dad did. He wants me to smooth things over, and he said there’s a good amount of evidence that this could blow up. Ties back to the job you assigned us, keeping tabs on the anti-parahumans.” [...] “To Shin and back. I only got so much info myself, but it sounds like certain factions in Shin are pretty angry at capes- which is understandable. You don’t tend to feel warm and fuzzy about people who take over your world.” “But they’re violent, and my dad thinks they’re getting information and other stuff from us, and our more dangerous anti-parahuman types are getting resources and manpower from them.” With mutual control over the portal and cooperation with three of the five major governments in Shin, we don’t think there’s been too much damage, exchange of weapons, or manpower. There are strict rules about passage through. Vaccines, diet prior to passage through, allowed gifts, ID…” - Excerpt from Breaking 14.4</ref--> <!--ref>“I am,” Seir said. “Shin set their own rules and imperatives, remember? You struck your deal with them, you gave us the rules they dictated. We can do whatever’s necessary to protect Shin. Including if we think a mass murdering little shit like him might pull something.” - Excerpt from Sundown 17.8</ref--> ===Post-Time Bubble Pop=== Following the reveal of political involvement of parahumans on Gimel, Shin attempted to establish the dominance over The City by leveraging their relief support during the incoming winter. At the time Shin provided around the third of the Gimel resources, including food. After the failure of several heavy-handed provocations The Founders and Coalition factions were able to regain their political influence. ===Post-Attack on Teacher=== Shin started accepting refugees from The City. The Atlantic Seaboard Capitol was partially evacuated to accommodate for disturbances on Gimel, as well as for the new project of Lab Rat. Shin Defense Initiative is deployed in attempt to strike against encroaching Machine Army and intimidate the remaining inhabitants of The City, sparking the second Shin-Gimel crisis. ===The Ice Breaks=== At the insistence of her fathers, Amy Dallon turns herself in to the Wardens. Chris Elman mobilizes his Giants against the Titans. ===Ward Epilogue=== The Giant Goddess delivered some unspecified troubles, presumably going out of control, due to Cryptid's arrest by The Wardens. Earth Shin strikes a deal with The Wardens to ensure that Amy Dallon will not return them either.
