    Victoria interprets as real, gets disgusted.

         Formal attire Amy, Dot, Marquis look at incoming refugees.
    Straight. Confirmed in 16.y
    Vicky gets pissed that she can't hate Amy for this.
10. “Carol Dallon,”
         Teenage Carol/Neil scene
    Can be equally Straight or Metaphor (budding process re-interpreted)
    TT attempts to soften the blow, but falters...

         Amy having her way with Icktoria
    Straight?
    Vicky gets morbid. Her agent-pings intensify.
    TT gets between her and screen. Does not confirm or deny which crystals lie.
      It itself can be interpreted as either silent confirmation, or an attempt to not make it worse with Vicky being dedicated to look at dirt and Shard baiting her.
    Vicky interprets 10th as true, takes it personally, gets sadder.
12. “Crystal,” I said.
         Crystal and Carol at home.

    Vicky cheers up a bit.

    TT argues that questioning precogs is dangerous and fucks with timelines.
    Vicky realizes that she already knows all the secrets of Breakthrough and can't be betrayed there
14. “Chris Elman,”
         Beast-Chris bullies Amy
    Metaphor?
    Vicky gets shocked.
    TT argues, that Vicky just senselessly hurts herself by continuing questioning.
    Vicky ignores her and continues to brood.

    Vicky gets shocked again and interprets it as real.

tl;dr: 'tis a combat scene, because Shard wills it. Negotiator seeks angles of attack the more it is asked, tells truth if there is no way to hurt or IF the truth hurts, strips of context when there is a space for a bad misinterpretation. It also seems to double down on vileness after painless answers.
