Murder Rat was fused together from the capes [[Ravager]] and [[Mouse Protector]], created by [[Bonesaw]] after Ravager hired the [[Slaughterhouse Nine]] to take down Mouse Protector. Following her creation, Murder Rat became a full member of the Slaughterhouse Nine after passing the requisite tests. Over time, however, Murder Rat's physical and mental faculties degraded, leading to her eventual demotion to one of Bonesaw's minions.<ref name="I25e1">Murder Rat.  Not stapled together as the original had been.  She’d taken the time to do it well.  When membership had been down, Bonesaw had made Murder Rat as a created addition to the Slaughterhouse Nine. Murder Rat accompanied Bonesaw to visit [[Panacea]], Bonesaw's nominee for the Slaughterhouse Nine. During the visit, Murder Rat was disabled by Panacea and, after Bonesaw was driven off, was finally mercy killed by [[Flashbang]].<ref>“Okay.”  Mark walked over to Murder Rat and adjusted her position against the wall until she was more horizontal, almost lying down.  He crossed her claws over her chest, and then formed an orb of light the size of a tennis ball.<br />“Rest in peace, Mouse Protector,” he said.  He placed the orb of light in the gap where two claws crossed one another, just over her heart, then stepped away.<br />There was a small explosion and a spray of blood. - [https://parahumans.wordpress.com/2012/06/23/interlude-11h/ Excerpt] from [[Interlude 11h]]</ref>
