[[The Warrior]], [[the Thinker]] and [[The Loner]] all appear to have had variants of this shard. 

* The Thinker's was damaged and she had to replace it with one she gained from the Loner; it got knocked loose and bonded with [[Contessa]].<ref name=":6">[[Interlude 29]]</ref> It refers to itself as "The Eye".<ref name="Rad18.z">[[Radiation 18.z]]</ref>
* The Warrior retained most of his Path to Victory when becoming/forming [[Scion]],<ref name=28.6>Tattletale frowned.  "Contessa's power."<br><br>"It's telling her victory is impossible?" ===True use===
A defense mechanism for world-destroying god-viruses using it to navigate and watch out for outside threats and obstacles. ===Possible Powers===
Contessa's human-sized variant allowed her to view the steps to accomplish almost any task, and helped her to perform the actions (including physical movements, speech and even thoughts) necessary to accomplish them. [[Eden]] altered the restrictions on her power when she tried to kill the Entity, blocking her from using it on the Entities and anything related to them. <ref name=":6"/>

Upon becoming a [[Titan]], her power changes to quickly being able to create and envision thousands of possible futures, along with the steps needed to achieve them, within seconds for any single goal she requests. She can read the details of all of them when she wills, in order to see the other details of the futures where her goal is fulfilled so to choose which one is the most favourable, then select one future Path to work towards. If both the Titan and the human Host use the power in-tandem and work together, they can concoct possible future Paths even quicker than normal. However, the future Paths she comes up with are not every possible future, merely the ones her power's processing ability has calculated. As such, what Paths there are is dependant on this calculating ability, such as how long is spent on coming up with futures for a single goal and the aid that the Host can supply in thinking power and processing ability.<ref name="Rad18.z"/>

Scion's version was similar to Human Contessa's but without that restriction,<ref name=28.6/> and could additionally be used to view specific possible futures.<ref name=":3"/><ref name=":5"/>

Having given up part of her Path to Victory to Abaddon and with the remainder damaged, [[Eden]] was still able to view a [[List of Possible Futures#Eden's Perfect World|specific "optimal ... simulated world"]] with it. This possible future was accurate enough that it was set in [[Earth Bet]] and featured slightly-different versions of a number of canon characters. However, the Entity was ''not'' fully shown the path to that future and so failed to reach it.<ref name=":6"/> 

Dinah Alcott's ability could also be considered a power granted by Path to Victory, albeit only a small portion.
