Many are part of [[The Protectorate]], but there are also vigilantes, both solo and teamed. Some have private sponsors, including corporations and religious organizations. The heroes of Worm do not always have altruistic motives and many, such as [[Colin Wallis|Armsmaster]], [[Shadow Stalker]], or [[Monokeros]] frequently abuse their privileged position.
