}}'''Scourge 19.5''' is the sixth chapter of the [[Scourge]] Arc. Skitter gives directions, clones run amok, and Echidna gets in two good bites.

==Plot==

Abhorror brings the heroes into disarray by teleporting individuals away from their squads.  But Skitter is able to kill this clone by utilizing some of Echidna's fast movement.  Skitter then helps regroup the heroes by using bugs to signal Echidna's relative location. 

Echidna is flanked by the combined attack from Myrddin, Chevalier, Eidolon, Legend, and Alexandria.  But she charges through several walls and then creates more clones, including the self-duplicating Kudzu.  

Tattletale relays some information to the battle: that Echidna has encased 17 capes, and has a central core which powers her.  Skitter barely gives out a warning before Shatterbird does a wide attack, crippling several heroes.  

The numerous Kudzu clones start melees against Skitter and Weld.  But many retreat back towards Echidna, who devours them.  This allows Echidna to duplicate into four copies of Echidna.  The copies work together to isolate and then grapple Alexandria and Eidolon, consuming them, and then producing clones.  The undisguised clone of Alexandria is recognized by the combatants to be Rebecca Costa-Brown, the Chief Director of the PRT.
