Entities don't have genders, do they? Eden is the Thinker. Scion chose a male form, but the form that Contessa & Doctor Mother shanked was still sexless at the time of shanking (Venom 29.9). Perhaps we should revisit the Entity template, particularly since gender doesn't apply to Abaddon at all? Understand your issues but look to how the counterpart is refereed to within worm. Further in the predicted war-torn world if Eden had survived would have featured her as female. I would only give the thinker female descriptive text when talking about her adapted or mal-adapted form. Abaddon  can remain gender-less as it did not adapt to the Terran Biosphere at any time. Again the creatures were not strictly humans, they were a lot more but also much less then human.
