==About Serial Killers And Parahumans== I'm in favor of removing this, as 134.10.26.125 wants. It's unnecessary, off-topic and clutters the page. The only edits Wildbow made to the section is correct some sentences. He in no way gave it any sort of grand endorsement, nor does it in any way relate to Wildbow's writings. (See here). RainDance299 (talk) 01:52, February 5, 2017 (UTC) This is something I am not budging on, I will make it into a collapsible piece however because it does clutter the page. I am trying to prempt calls for the story to be banned because it glorifying serial killers or some such shit by explaining things a bit more clearly.--FossilLord (talk) 20:54, February 6, 2017 (UTC) Can you cite any sources which: *Make you suspect people would think Worm would glorify serial killers. *Make it clear Wikia would ban a wiki about a story such as that. *Make it believable that your additional piece of text would mitigate such a thing from happening. Just a small selection of wikia other wikis to show your fears are incredibly unfounded: *http://hannibal.wikia.com/wiki/Hannibal_Wiki *http://millenniumtrilogy.wikia.com/wiki/Millennium_Trilogy_Wiki *http://dexter.wikia.com/wiki/Home I also did a quick google check for violent series and found this article on the top 10 most gruesome shows: http://screenrant.com/most-violent-tv-shows-bloodiest/?view=all Each and every last show on that list has a wikia. (Daredevil is part of the MCU-wiki). I hope I have helped you put your anxieties to rest. RainDance299 (talk) 21:39, February 6, 2017 (UTC) ==More on Serial Killers and Parahumans== This is confusing as fuck. Are we going to add a PSA about the dangers of crack and the crudeness of cussing to the Merchants page? An announcement about the definition of rape to Heartbreaker's page? A discussion of the reality of sex slavery on Lung's page, or a treatise on ASPD on Oni Lee's? This is a slippery slope and it's a pretty silly one. Maroon Sweater (talk) 01:02, April 28, 2017 (UTC) I agree with this entirely. There's no reason to pull up some wiki definition of serial killers in this page, and there's also no reason to be concerned with Worm being banned. When books are 'banned', they're usually just banned from all curriculums in local high schools in some podunk town that doesn't understand the point of the book anyways. Why the hell would Worm need to be worried about it? It's not on school curriculums anywhere that I know of, and I'd be fascinated if you actually had an example of a school teaching Worm in class.TheRealDesert (talk) 01:12, April 28, 2017 (UTC) As you can see from above this was already discussed and removed a few months ago sorry that it reared its head again I am usually more on top of things then that.--FossilLord (talk) 04:41, April 28, 2017 (UTC) ==Basis== Does anyone know if the Slaughterhouse Nine is based off of the Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut? Chikkane (talk) 00:37, May 13, 2020 (UTC) : I too came here wondering if it was, and checking the Trivia I notice it has no mention of it. : Since the novel was published in 1969, I think it's reasonable to assume that it was possibly inspired from the novel, so I reckon someone should add that in (but make mention that the author has not confirmed it). - Kaby2 (talk) 09:15, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
