== Prelude ==
The alliance [[intimidating the Mayor]] doesn't go over well with the authorities. Dragon and her new partner Defiant have several breakthroughs in their research.<ref>[[Interlude 15]]</ref>

== Events ==
Dragon suits carry out a simultaneous attack on several territories, attacking the Travelers and the Undersiders.

Regrouping at Coil's underground base, a strategy is worked out. They attack the Protectorate headquarters and kidnap [[Piggot]] for information. Things don't go as planned.

The team sets out to carry out simultaneous strikes; Skitter decides to take the lead for the Undersiders. They go to rescue Bitch and friends and succeed.

Attacked by Azazel on the way back, but Skitter is able to put it in a logical checkmate.

Coil pays the [[Dragonslayers]] for information about how to deal with Dragon and gets the directions to damage the cellphone network. The [[Dragonflight]] retreats.

== Aftermath ==
Several other villain teams disappear or escape from Brockton Bay due to intimidation from the alliance. Brockton Bay is not "theirs".

Coil starts his endgame.
