J, or the Jewel of Boston, was a confidant of Damsel, and agent of Accord.

Personality

Was fully willing to use his powers to hurt people. When he was dying he used the time to hurt damsel as opposed to begging for his life or similar.<ref>Eclipse x.7</ref>

Relationships

Ashley Stillons

J and Ashley formed a close, sexual relationship with one another.

Her successors still have conflicted feelings about him, despite knowing well that their suspicion was correct.

Accord

J was a spy working for Accord.

Appearance

Freckled, young and good looking.

Abilities and Powers

J showcased the power to mold himself into a given targets "perfect person".<ref>“The Jewel of Boston,” Damsel said. “‘J’. Accord’s. He had powers but he only ever showed me the one. He could mold himself to be anyone’s perfect person.” - Excerpt from From Within 16.11</ref> It was assumed that he also had some other secondary powers.

Was distinguished enough to be employed by Accord.

In the past, J used his abilities on 4 different people, making them fall in love with him before killing them.<ref>“He intended to betray me. He’d killed four others already, made them love him, broke their hearts, broke them, humiliated what remained, then killed them. I got out unscathed.” - Excerpt from From Within 16.11</ref>

Boston Games

J came up to Damsel to join her team after her first bonfire meeting able to wrangel an invite to the gang.<ref>Eclipse x.3</ref>

J joined Damsel in her gang, becoming her personal assistant and helping her commit crimes. Unbeknownst to Damsel he had been placed with here, intent on feeding information to the Clockwork Dogs.

Damsel was informed she had a mole in her group, and she instinctively turned on J, killing him.

Legacy

He was later confirmed to be the Jewel of Boston by Armstrong.<ref>“About the Jewel. Armstrong would tell me later. But right then? He was just a boy. All I had was an instinct, and I still maimed him. That’s how little a perfect affection means.” - Excerpt from From Within 16.11</ref>

Information on him was later dug up by Prancer to showcase his knowledge to Damsel of Distress.<ref>I know that when you get restless you often look for people to spend time with. The Jewel of Boston, the Slaughterhouse Nine. We know how those stories ended. - Excerpt from Shade 4.1</ref>

Trivia

• Was originally known as The Gem<ref name="DoD CS">Damsel of Distress Character Sheet</ref> but was changed to the Jewel when he appeared in Ward.
• Given his employ by Accord, who has high standards for his employees, it is assumed that J met these standards before his employment and empowerment.
