Checking the character tags that are used in the chapters that include Skitter's clones, it seems that "Scurry" is used in Interlude 18, where Noelle creates a rodent-controlling Skitter-clone, while "Chitter" is used in Scourge 19.1, where the original Skitter encounters two of her bug-controlling clones. This leads me to believe that Scurry refers to rat-control clones while Chitter refers to bug-control clones, and yet this is directly contradicted by a statement by Wildbow in a response he gave in a reddit thread, referring to Chitter as an example of rat-control.
