Description

Canada is home to the Guild and the Birdcage, as well as Dragon's purported place of residence. It is divided into ten provinces and three territories, and is the second largest country by geographical size.

History

Background

Attempted to start their own version of the Protectorate, known as The Guild. It didn't go well, at least initially.<ref name="R1">The Guild is something of a failed effort that mutated. - Wildbow on Reddit</ref>

In 2002, the first Protectorate department was set up in Canada.<ref name="PRTM"/> The Guild later reorganized.

On May 9th, 2005, Leviathan attacked the island of Newfoundland. The defending heroes failed to drive him off fast enough, and Leviathan managed to sink the entire island, killing half a million people including Andrew Richter.

• Wildbow lives in Canada in real life, and the original draft of Worm was even meant to take place in Ottawa.
