Extinction is an arc from the Worm series. It is preceded by Sting and followed by Cockroaches.
Summary
As the world reels from Scion's initial attacks, Taylor returns to Brockton Bay with Rachel to help with search and rescue. The apparent futility of her best efforts over the past years nearly sends Taylor into total despair, but Tattletale intervenes at a key moment by inviting her to a council of war.
