Pitch 6.2 is the second chapter of Pitch. Mama is free, everyone finds their own solution to the problem. Fighting shifts to containment, Rachel recognizes Chris, Wardens pull out, Victoria sics Looksee on Tattletale.
Plot
The combined capes huddle up to try an block out any sound and keep Mama Mathers from entering their minds.
In a bit of quick thinking Rachel starts howling as she covers her ears. This brings an accompanying howl from her dogs who come to assist her. This leads to the combined capes having a circle of mutant dogs, for protection.
Vista tries to halt a dog from getting to close to the capes but really just interferes with it getting between the allied Capes and the Fallen.
Victoria showcases a uncomfortably in understanding Rachel as an enemy despite the changes that have happened in the years since.
Victoria and Weld take down a group of bikers allied with the fallen, who back the group in the tuselle. After the group is beaten Mama, who has infected them, shuts them down with her powers. Parian gifts Victoria with a pair of cloth earplugs.
Victoria looks for a dog that wandered of and finds it stalking Chris, who it doesn't know is an ally. Bitch and Imp show up and their conversation worries Chris when Bitch won;t say where she knows Chris from. Imp is also annoyed with Rachel's reticence on sharing information.
Victoria steers the conversation over to the next phase of the attack; containment. Wardens pull out but team therapy stays.
Victoria calls Looksee to fill her in on whats happened and secretly tells her start looking for tattletale.
