I don't think we should be totally black and white here. I'm sure at least a few of the smiles listed here are times where she actually was mildly happy and put on a smile performatively. | |||
Smiling is the standard way of showing people when you're happy, so even if she doesn't naturally smile, she would want to put a fake smile on to show her friends that she was happy. | |||

Torch 7.3 is the third chapter of Torch. Team road trip! Encountering a group of looters, civic dissent spreads. Group meets with Ashley, who’s probably going to prison, pack up her apartment. Which she offers to Vic.
