Heavens 12.f is the tenth chapter and third interlude of Heavens. Flashback to Cradle’s sociopathic childhood, his Shard’s view of its connection, his trigger event, night six in the dream room, getting a power-boost in the present.

Ryan ruminates on his evolving relationship with his parents then his school and now everyone.

Major Events

• Ryan is confirmed as classical low-functioning psychopath: vengeful, manipulative, impatient, remorseless and relentless. He, however, made some degree of progress with integration into society.

Trivia

• This chapter continues trend of concurrent, non-interlude PoV-switches.
• First flashback-scene can be dated to post-2004, because of a reference to the city of Lyon being attacked by Endbringers repeatedly.
