Bakuda got her start as a supervillain by initiating a terrorism campaign at her university. During the Shell story arc, Taylor surmises that Bakuda's trigger event might have been tied to some failure at school.
Served as leader of the ABB while Lung was incarcerated.
Serving a life sentence in the Birdcage.
A ‘tinker’ with a knowledge and facility with technology decades ahead of her time, specializing in a variety of devastating explosives and bombs. Very much a ‘mad scientist’, Bakuda has a host of mental problems that range from megalomania and sadism to bipolar mood swings. Served as leader of the ABB while Lung was incarcerated.
Trivia
- Bakuda's codename is a bastardization of the japanese 爆弾, or 'bakudan', which means 'bomb'.
- Bakuda is half Caucasian and half Asian, as evidenced by her blue eyes (the only time she is seen unmasked, in her last appearance). The mixed race is something she shares in common with Lung.
