<!-- List of visions, to sort out:
1. “Don’t get spotted by spike-head!”
"A woman in white, standing dangerously close to the portal.  One of Teacher’s flunkies.  Two more flunkies were standing nearby.  Nobody I recognized."
Seems to be straightforward, not much space for a metaphor or a lie
2. “Teacher,”
Flickering, vague images showed a doorway, thralls standing at the ready.  Then a scene before that, Teacher stepping through the door.
Straightforward, not much space for a metaphor or a lie
3. “Amelia Lavere,” (1st attempt, Amy's formal appearance)
My sister, talking to two members of the Shin council, emphatic, while Chris wore a monstrous form and prowled behind her.  It was pretty clear that what she was talking about was important.
Can be equally Straight or a Metaphor.
    No interpretation from Vicky.
4. “Mark Dallon.  Is he okay?”
Mark asks Amy something. She fearfully denies.
Can be equally Straight or a Metaphor.
Victoria interprets as real, assumes it was about the cure from depression.
    Victoria starts getting distraught.
5. “Amy Dallon,” I tried again. (2nd attempt, the Sister)
        Amy masturbating
Can be equally Straight or insulting Metaphor.
Victoria interprets as real, gets disgusted.
6. “Yeah, I know who you were fantasizing about,” I muttered, disgusted.
"Me, sitting on the cot in the little cell in Earth Shin.  Amy sitting across from me."
    Fully straight?
Victoria interprets as real, prepares to leave.
7. Tristan called out.  “Look for another way!”
Shows that there is no way
Straight at face-value, untrue in spirit
    Victoria gets intrigued again.
8. “Panacea,” I tried, again. (3rd attempt, the Healer)
Dot, Amy, Hunter scene. Hunter's friend being uneasy.
Can be equally Straight or Metaphor.
    No interpretation from Vicky.
9. “The Red Queen,” (4th attempt, the Ruler)
Formal attire Amy, Dot, Marquis look at incoming refugees.
    Straight?
Vicky gets pissed that she can't hate Amy for this.
10. “Carol Dallon,”
        Teenage Carol/Neil scene
Can be equally Straight or Metaphor (budding process re-interpreted)
TT attempts to soften the blow, but falters...
11. ...oversexed and deranged. I was right on one count.”
Amy having her way with Icktoria
    Straight?
Vicky gets morbid. Her agent-pings intensify.
TT gets between her and screen. Does not confirm or deny which crystals lie.
It can be interpreted as either silent confirmation, or an attempt to not make it worse with Vicky being dedicated to look at dirt and Shard baiting her.
Vicky interprets 10th as true, takes it personally, gets sadder.
12. “Crystal,” I said.
        Crystal and Carol at home.
    Straight?
    Vicky cheers up a bit.
13. option A?
Rain gets melded into the portal
    Alternative reality / Untrue
TT argues that questioning precogs is dangerous and fucks with the timeline.
Vicky realizes that she already knows all the secrets of Breakthrough and can't be betrayed there
14. “Chris Elman,”
        Beast-Chris bullies Amy
    Metaphor?
    Vicky gets shocked.
TT argues, that Vicky just senselessly hurts herself by continuing questioning.
Vicky ignores her and continues to brood.
15. the way to the safest part of the ledge?”
    Straigh?
TT goes away, Vicky takes an opportunity to hurt some more.
16. “Jessica,” I murmured.
        Jessica strangling child-Bonesaw.
Straight or Metaphor? (Riley is alive and resumed her aging, but Bonesaw-child is dead, and Jessica "killed" her)
Vicky gets shocked again and interprets it as real.
tl;dr: 'tis a combat scene. Shard seeks angles of attack the more it is asked, tells truth if there is no way to hurt or IF the truth hurts, metaphorizes when there is a space for a bad misinterpretation. It also seems to double down on vileness after painless answers.
