Story

Aisha is four years younger that her brother. When their parents divorced she went to live with her mother and Brian with his father. They kept in touch sporadically, mostly via text messages.

Her mother started abusing drugs and regularly cycled through boyfriends. The men often tried to bring their rules to the house which resulted in constantly changing disciplines and a chaotic upbringing for Aisha.

At least one of her mothers boyfriends started abusing her and it is implied that she was molested by him. At one of these occasions she sent a text to Brian simply stating: "help me." When he got to the house and saw that she had been crying and the boyfriend stopped him from taking her with him, he realized what had happened and nearly beat the man to death which later resulted in his trigger event.

Afther this incident the social service and the law stepped in. The boyfriend was sentence to six months in jail, Brian to three months of community service and Aisha custody pass to her father.

Their father is described as a good man, but not an ideal parent. Brian planned to get his mother and father’s parental rights terminated and apply to become Aisha’s guardian when he turned eighteen in June 2011. This would require a lot of money, which is why he entered the lucrative business of being a villain.

Mrs. Henderson is the social worker in charge of Aisha's case. To convince her that Brian will be a better guardian than Aisha's own mother, Coil arranged for Brian's allowance to come from a legitimate company, for ¡the manager of said company to provide a glowing recommendation on his behalf and for him to acquire a good house in a nice neighborhood for him and Aisha to live in.<ref name = "6.3">Tangle 6.3</ref> At some point Brian revealed to Aisha that he had powers and that was where the money was coming from. She deduced his alias by studying pictures of the various villains in the town and found out that he was the leader of The Undersiders.

Everything was working according to the plan when Leviathan attack.

We don't know yet what happened exactly, but during or directly following Leviathan's attack on Brockton Bay she experienced a Trigger Event. After her powers manifested she joined The Undersiders and adopted the codename "Imp".

She participated in the kidnapping of Shadow Stalker and the infiltration of The Wards headquarters during the Parasite story arc.

She later developed a relationship with Regent and went so far as to allow him to take control over her with his powers. She later stated that if he tried to control her against her will her power would automatically kick in when she slept, severing his hold over her. Regent died during the fight with Behemoth (crushed 24.4 ) in order to protect her and Aisha took it upon herself to kill Regents father Heartbreaker and adopt Regents brothers and sister.

Appearance

She is 13 or 14 years old and acording to Taylor:

She was beautiful, as feminine as Brian was masculine, with high cheekbones, a long neck and even though she was two or three years younger than me, she already had breasts larger than mine.

 

You just needed one look at Aisha to know that she was going to be drop dead gorgeous when she had finished growing up. All that said, though, she had a streak of hair bleached and some of that bleached hair had been dyed into a stripe of purple. It was as though she had gone out of her way to look trashy, with ripped denim shorts over neon green fishnet leggings, and a strapless top I would hesitate to even call underwear. Any envy I felt towards her was accented by an almost offended feeling, as far as how she was spoiling what she’d been naturally given.<ref name = "6.3" />
