During the Agitation Arc The Undersiders rob the Brockton Bay Central Bank attracting to them the attention of the PRT, The Wards and the Brockton Bay Police Department (The Protectorate was occupied elsewhere).

At the same time Dinah Alcott was kidnapped from a middle school near Arcadia High (where most members of The Wards would have been if not for the robbery) by Coil's mercenaries. The motive behind the kidnapping could have been that her uncle was a mayoral candidate in the election of the next Summer, but in fact Coil wanted her for her powers.<ref>Buzz 7.12</ref>

Powers and Abilities

Dinah Alcott possesses the ability to see the likelihood of something occurring in the future, which her power resolves into a percentage chance. She does this by perceiving trillions of possible universes and sorting them into groups based on a single event.

At Coil's insistence, Dinah also demonstrated the ability to pick out a single timeline and interpret it, which was used to see a future where Crawler did not kill her, Coil and the Travelers in an attack on Coil's base, find the situation they were in that allowed them to escape and then employ it.
