Mantellum is a case 53 who was in the irregulars, and was involved with their raid upon the Cauldron facility.

Appearance
Mantellum looks like a human manta ray , with a tail that trails behind him.
Powers & Abilities
Mantellum creates layers around him in which effect are blanketed. Within 15 feet of him, powers cease to work, within 5 feet of him, all senses go null. This effect is so intensive, he was able to disarm Contessa.
