Personality

A genial man who supplied the first wards team with video games so that they could have an enjoyable pastime between their work as heroes and after school.

Riddled with health problems from an early age, Hero considered Cauldron heroes after the formula they gave him cured him of all his health problems.

Appearance

in his civilian identity he had blond hair. Hero wore golden armor with blue chain mesh.<ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Interlude 13</ref>

Abilities and Powers

Hero is considered to be the preeminent Tinker of his day. He specialized in wavelength manipulation - based off the "primary tools" that Zion and Eden employed - and was broad in what he could do.

career

Hero was introduced to Alexandria and said that he had heard of her before mentioning how her takedown of Strongarm and Mongler was impressive. He then listened as Doctor Mother told them about Alexandria's abilities before she asked them to consider two things. Alexandria explained her idea of forming a government-regulated superhero team and Hero asked her why she would want him or Legend to lead it instead of Eidolon.

Alexandria told him that Eidolon was too powerful and that he wouldn't be able to convey the impression they wanted. He then listened as Alexandria explained how her plan would survive contact with the government before saying that it seemed too manipulative. Alexandria offered him the information regarding the plan and asked him to consider it.

After Contessa had Doormaker open a portal, he approached it alongside Eidolon and looked out of it. Doctor Mother told him that was where she would base her operations in the future and confirmed that it was another Earth. Professor Manton handed out booklets detailing Alexandria's plan before he travelled through a portal to Chicago.

Hero was present when Behemoth emerged. After seeing what Behemoth could do, Legend told him to call for as much help as he could. He then cursed as he was informed that they were close to some major oil fields. Later, Hero was sworn in alongside Alexandria, Legend, and Eidolon as one of the founding members of the Protectorate.

Case 1

Hero and Alexandria were the last to arrive on the scene, entering through a window, before he asked if they had gotten Siberian cornered. He wondered about why the cape hadn't tried to leave before Legend told them that she had a hostage. He listened as Legend told them that they would be trying out a new experimental procedure before entering. After shrugging out of the crystals Eidolon attempted to confine her with, Siberian lunged towards Hero. She plunged her hand through his chest cavity and bisected him before Eidolon carried him outside. Eidolon attempted to heal him, but Hero ultimately died.<ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Interlude 15 (Donation Bonus #3)</ref>
