Residents

The Los Angeles Protectorate team was the second-largest in America.<ref name="23.1">Drone 23.1</ref> They were led by Alexandria, and later Rime.<ref name="23.1"/> The team included Arbiter and Usher among their number.<ref name="23.1"/>

The Los Angeles Wards team was led by Vantage, and included Leister.<ref name="23.1">Drone 23.2</ref>

Points of Interest

• Following the 2013 Endbringer attack, Santa Fe Springs and all of the neighboring districts were uninhabitable and riddled with traps.<ref name="I26a"/>

Background

Rebecca Costa-Brown was treated for cancer in Los Angeles, where she was approached by Doctor Mother.<ref name="15.z">15.z (Donation Interlude 3; Alexandria)</ref>

Alexandria in Los angeles as a hero prior to the founding of the Protectorate, taking down villains Stongarm and Mongler.<ref name="15.z"/> She went on to lead the Los Angeles chapter of the Protectorate after Hero's death.<ref name="R1">Comment by Wildbow on Reddit</ref><ref name="23.1"/>

Post-Echidna

Rime was appointed leader of the Los Angeles Protectorate, transferred from Philadelphia.<ref name="23.1"/>

The Timeskip

On May 17th, 2013, Los Angeles was attacked by the Twins. Tohu selected Alexandria, Phir Sē, and Lung for her powers. The Endbringers were defeated by Eidolon and the Guild.<ref name="25.6">Scarab 25.6</ref> This was the fight where the heroes realized that the key to defeating the Twins was to respond quickly, before Tohu had her masks and Bohu managed her influence.<ref name="I26a"/> The heroes used some kind of superweapon comparable to that used at New Delhi.<ref name="28.3">Cockroaches 28.3</ref>

Post-Timeskip

Jack Slash travelled to the area of Los Angeles modified by Bohu with some of the the Slaughterhouse Nine-Thousand to confront Golem.<ref name="I26a">Interlude 26a</ref>

Golden Morning

Khepri briefly hallucinated Los Angeles, among the other ruined locations.<ref name="30.3"> Speck 30.3</ref>
