Appearance

Fume is a hook-nosed, black-haired woman of Greek ethnic descent.

Abilities and Powers

Fume casts out large, baseball sized bullets that move with enough force to break bones, one from each hand per two or three seconds. These bullets, on striking a surface, produce a cloud of sulphurous gas. The gas has a smell comparable to rotten eggs or skunk, and produces an immediate, albeit mild burning sensation, particularly around the mucus glands.

Background

Fume comes from a troubled background, with two mentally ill parents who crafted a rather isolated world for her, with peculiar rules and patterns.

+Fume is something of a conundrum and headache for the PRT’s PR department, as she walks a fine line between being one of the most antisocial capes in the West-coast Protectorate teams and one of the most inexplicably popular members of the Seattle team, quite possibly a ‘hipster’ phenomenon.
+Her patrolling is above the norm, and she works without complaint. Careful attention must be paid to her personality, as she is rather poor at indicating her feelings or current condition.

On stakeouts, she has displayed a peculiar sort of patience, capable of spending hours in silence and stillness, entertaining herself with only the thoughts in her head. She is alert throughout, however, and is capable of springing to action at a moment’s notice. Teammates who manage to get past her abrasive nature and odd personality quirks report that her company isn’t entirely unpleasant.
+Efforts to rehabilitate Fume have been fairly unsuccessful. Initial speculation that she was autistic was off-target; she simply wasn’t socialized in a conventional manner, and may need frequent reminders about basic social niceties. The Seattle office would like to stress that Fume’s camera time should be strictly limited.
