They’re still around, north end.” “They left you behind?”</ref>
Modus operandi
Soldat is a powered group of villains that transported 'goods' throughout Boston. They casually employed the use of guns during their dealings, meaning the heroes would often focus on stopping Soldat. <ref>Eclipse x.3: This casual use of guns was why Soldat didn’t already have East Boston locked down and firmly in their grasp. </ref> Their primary strategy is distract and attack. One member would use teleportation, position, stalling and forcing reactions, while the other is collected and ready to attack. <ref>Eclipse x.3: This was their tactic. To use the teleportation and positioning, one hemming in, stalling, and forcing reactions, the other cool, calm, collected, ready to snipe the target.</ref>
They hired henchmen and were known to hire professional soldiers from outside of Boston.<ref>Eclipse x.3: “They’re hiring outsiders. Professional soldiers or some shit. They’re trying for quality, but you miss out something when you hire from a catalogue. Hire me and my boys, you get a close-knit group where we know how the rest of us operate.”</ref>
History
Present during the Boston Games. Got into a fight between Damsel of Distress when she attached their transport truck. This fight lead to a multi-way fight near the toppled vehicle.
Members
Members of Soldat include:
- A man who uses a tube to create detonations. He slaps his hand against the hollow end of the tube, causing his power ripped through it and hit the ground. It detonates, and the shock-waves can be enough to lift a person off the ground.
- A mutating teleporter. After each teleport, the parahuman appears, but with a random mutation set. Most mutations would be weak, but some were more dangerous. Examples include additional sets of eyes, a gaping mouth, and 4 arms.<ref>Eclipse x.3: the teleporter’s face, and he disappeared before her foot could make contact. This would be the one who switched randomly between mutation sets every time he teleported. Most of those mutations would be weak, but there were some to watch out for.</ref>
- A second teleporting woman. She sports a stylized modern camouflage uniform, mask strapped on with a bandage wrapped around her head to help keep the mask in place and long black hair that escaped from the bandage and straps of the mask to billow in the wind. Her power lets her materialize on non-horizontal surfaces and was seen standing horizontally on a wall.<ref>Eclipse x.3: Second thing to notice was that the woman had materialized in such a way that she stood on the wall, her body horizontal. She didn’t seem bothered by it. </ref>
- Marrow was an ex-employee/henchman of Soldat. Assumed to have no powers.
