The Ice Breaks is the event in which Fume Hood broke reality by undergoing a Broken Trigger and turning into a Titan.
Prelude
During the Attack on Teacher's Compound, the heroes learned of the ongoing stress on reality that powers were having and input restrictions on power use to attempt to avoid this event from occurring.
Events
During a riot on the border of Earth Cheit, Fume Hood was shot by an anti-parahuman thug, undergoing a broken trigger and becoming a Titan similar to Kronos. Doing so finally 'broke the ice' and caused an uncountable amount of black lightning-like reality cracks to spread throughout multiple earths.
Multiple capes also began to break and become Titans when this happened, including:
