It is home to the Endbringer Fight Memorial, which commemorates those lost in the Battle against Leviathan.
Geography
The hill rests at the base of the mountains west of Brockton Bay. It is located near the western border of Brockton Bay.<ref>It was out of the way, placed atop Captain’s Hill, at the base of the mountains to the west of the city. - Excerpt from Extermination 8.8</ref>
The Endbringer Fight Memorial rests atop it, put there because the hill was one of the few places untouched by Leviathan's attack.<ref>The memorial had been put here, specifically, because the rest of the city had been devastated. [...] Captain’s Hill, for now, was a place that was safe, dry and clean. - Excerpt from Extermination 8.8</ref>
History
Post-Leviathan
The Endbringer Fight Memorial was constructed on top of the hill to commemorate the capes that died to Leviathan. Due to its relative safety compared to the rest of Brockton Bay, the area was used by residents to rest and picnic.<ref>Extermination 8.8</ref>
Captain's Hill was one of the remote areas of Brockton Bay that Bitch laid claim to.<ref>Sorry to continue derailing thread, but Bitch apparently has a slice of the more remote areas, where you don’t find many people living. Captain’s hill, the woods/hills, the beaches at the south that haven’t been cleaned up yet. Her gang’s growing though, or so I hear. - Excerpt from Interlude 19</ref>
Post-Timeskip
Cabins belonging to Bitch were built on top of the Earth Gimel version of Captain's Hill. They housed her various dogs.<ref>I followed her over the hill, to another small set of buildings. Cabins set on what had been Captain’s Hill in Earth Bet. I knew they were Rachel’s because of the dogs that were scattered around the premises, a small crowd milling around Bastard and the other mutant canines. - Excerpt from Extinction 27.1</ref>==References==
