Geography/Description

Located at the South-Western tip of Canada. Vancouver is the largest city in the province of British Columbia. Climate is very rainy.

PRT department named after compass point rather than the newer naming convention using numbers.

Dealt with birdcage management, guarding, other incarceration.<ref>Cities that break from this convention but nonetheless have departments are named with special designations.  These were originally compass points, but devolved after the number of departments increased and things fell out of order, starting with Montreal.

Portal

Portal between worlds at White Rock, located in the south part of Greater Vancouver.

History

Background

Somewhere around 2008-2011 somebody created a portal between Earth Bet and Earth Shin at White Rock. People started using this to smuggle between worlds. Unfortunately, people started getting sick. This resulted in the quarantine, and people got stuck on whichever side they had been on.

When Leviathan attacked and sunk Newfoundland on May 9th, 2005, Richter died and Dragon transferred her data, the house program, and a half dozen other small programs to a backup server in Vancouver. She then repurposed herself as a superhero; managing and tracking information while serving as a hacker for the PRT in exchange for funding.
