The Parahuman Response Team (or PRT for short) is a police/emergency response team trained to deal with ‘capes’ and the fallout of their altercations. They are established in any city with a meaningful number of capes.
This government funded organization has a secondary role in attempting to integrate parahumans into society. In [[Sentinel 9.1]], [[Director Piggot]] discusses the PRT's long term plans to acclimatize the public to [[parahumans]] in various roles in society, while preventing full blown panic or escalating prejudice against [[parahumans]].
 
In the field, the PRT use nonlethal weapons, primarily those designed by [[Dragon]], to subdue and contain parahumans and to protect the public. These include grenade launchers with specialized loadouts and containment foam, which may be carried in flamethrower-like packs by a single individual or mounted on a PRT containment van for larger threats.
