Background:

[Coming Soon]

Personality:

[Coming Soon]

Appearance:

Carlos is described as young man of Puerto Rican descent. He wears a rust-red costume with a matching helmet, both with silver-white trim, and a shield emblem. During his first appearance, however, he switched costumes with Clockblocker as part of a plan to trick the Undersiders.<ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Agitation 3.8</ref>

Abilities and Powers:

Aegis' main power was that his body had a large number of inbuilt back-ups. He could survive deadly injuries because other parts of his body would take over the necessary functions for staying alive, and hit harder than a normal person because he didn't have to worry about injuring himself. He could also fly.

History:

When the Undersiders hit a bank in Brockton Bay, Aegis accompanied the other Brockton Bay Wards to confront them. Tattletale figured out that he and Clockblocker had switched costumes due to a hesitancy in how 'Aegis' gave orders to their hostages. He bolted when Bitch's dog came after him, but was unable to get away as its tail wrapped around his torso and whipped him downwards. After getting up, he swung at Judas' snout only for Judas and Bitch to retreat into Grue's darkness.

He was one of the fatalities in the Endbringer attack on Brockton Bay, when Leviathan overwhelmed all his biological back-ups. His name was added to the Endbringer monument.
