4.b (Cluster; Cradle’s night) is the seventh chapter of Shade and the second interlude. Rain’s life continues to be a public service about why you shouldn’t be in or join cults.

Plot

Life is seen from Cradles eyes.

Rain asks his uncle to teach him how to fight. He gets his ass handed to him. Allie later has a conversation about her expectations with him.

Rain makes his decision.
