Yellow Team vs Cradle's Army marks the battle between Breakthrough, the Undersiders (with the Heartbroken), and Cradle & his army of mercenaries.<ref>Interlude 11.c II</ref>

Prelude

Breakthrough and the Undersiders decide to team up, in order to take out Love Lost, Cradle, and March. Based on Ashley's recommendations they decide to split up to attack their targets simultaneously.<ref>Blinding 11.4</ref>

The 'Yellow team'<ref name=Yel/> travels to a university to find Cradle, but are ambushed by a large team of mercenaries.

Battle

The team is vastly outnumbered, and try to make their escape.

They are split up by Cretan's ability. Darlene murders Operator Red. Cradle uses his whip to cut Tristan in half, lop off Tattletales head, and brutally maim the rest of the team.

Trivia

As the alliance was not given a name the groups are named based on the color codes used on Lookout's projector discs.<ref name=Yel>I had a projector disc with me. I brought it up, tapping on the side. A group of small holographic figures appeared above the disc, tinted yellow from head to toe. An arrow at the disc’s edge indicated the direction to them, with a number showing distance. They were gathered in vehicles, but the vehicles weren’t drawn as thoroughly as the people who sat in them, much like the mercenaries that accompanied them. Three heartbroken, Chicken Little, Sveta, and Capricorn, with Tattletale along to gather some intel and make sure the kids were alright.
