Background

Dan Seneca worked as a prosecutor for the District Attorney's office in Erie, County, New York. He moved to Seattle, Washington after his acceptance into the FBI. and worked at an FBI. field office for ten years. He was later offered the position of Director for a future PRT branch in Anchorage, Alaska which he accepted.

History

Director Seneca read through Deputy Chief Director Renolds' email before Gale asked him if he had basic access. Gale then told him he would hook him up to the database and assign permissions before telling him he would see a password prompt. He was asked about what he did and told Gale that he had been in the FBI. Gale asked him if he wanted to keep it secret and then told him that people there liked to handle their own business.

Dan then met Deputy Director Walsh. He asked Walsh if he minded being replaced which Walsh didn't before Walsh told him that the higher-ups had made sure he would hit the ground running. He then told Walsh that his flight had been alright and a little bit about his family. Walsh mentioned how his former job had helped with local crime and asked if he knew about it. Dan said that he had gotten the cliff notes and Walsh told him that his computer would have the full notes. Gale then finished his work and told him that he was in.

Director Seneca asked Walsh to set up a meeting. He thanked Gale for helping and then went to read the personnel and cape files. An employee informed him that it was time for the meeting and he straightened his suit before leaving. Once in the meeting room, he introduced himself. He revealed that he didn't like how their first priority seemed to be to 'attack' and that he wanted to protect the city and the people that lived there.

After Feint speaks up, Director Seneca asks him what's the matter. Feint gives his opinion of the people there before Dan told him that he should see them as the people he's sworn to protect. Roulette questions Feint after he begins to respond before Dan interrupts, telling them that it isn't the time. Auroch interrupts Feint when he tries to argue, telling him that he needs to take a walk, before asking Dan if it would be alright with him. Once Feint left, he told them that he was done before asking the Protectorate and Wards to stay behind. He greets and then asks for their thoughts on the situation as they had been there longer than he had.

Horizon asked Director Seneca about the leadership of the Protectorate and Wards' teams and Dan told him that he would get an answer after he looked over the files again. He spends the rest of the morning overlooking financial documents. He finds Feint on the ground floor and told him to meet him in his office. He offers Feint the option of ordering something in his office and then mentioned that Feint had no food allergies in his file. He then told Feint that the branding department might want him to wear a different costume before saying that it could be possible for him to keep it if he toned his attitude and language down. He then offers an alternative - saying that they could go to his office and talk about what they were going to do - before Dan is distracted by an approaching staff member. The employee collides with him only to break into chunks. Feint vanishes into the crowd before swearing at him.
