The Slaughterhouse Nine-Thousand marks the revival of the Slaughterhouse Nine. It takes place over several confrontations. There are not actually nine thousand members, the number being closer to the low hundreds.
Prelude
Upon being made aware of Dinah Alcots prediction the Nine would attack the Toybox and take the technology ensconced there. Then using the technology Bonesaw would place placed the Nine in stasis within a artificial dimension, then proceeded to clone a loyal army of previous Slaughterhouse members using samples stolen from Accord.
Battle
The Slaughterhouse Nine first emerged in Killington, killing the inhabitants of the small town.
Several of the Nine's more mental-based capes wait for the Protectorate, and are killed by the Chicago Wards. Dragon takes on a bus of Cherishes and Crawlers.
Several Hatchet Faces, Murder Rats, a Nyx, and a hybrid cape, Tyrant hold an apartment block hostage. From information gained by the attack, the hero side knows that the Nine has split into several groups, with Jack Slash and Bonesaw travelling towards Ellisburg to recruit Nilbog. They are interrupted by Weaver, Nilbog is injured, and his creatures are released.
At the same time, several other things are happening:
- Eight Siberians are released into a major population center.
- A group of miscellaneous Nine members run amok at Redfield.
- The Dragon's Teeth, the New York and Texas Protectorate enter Hyde Park.
- Another group, with a hybrid cape, Snowmann, clash with Protectorate forces.
Aftermath
