Personality
Shamrock is close to Gregor the Snail. And has no compunction with using her abilities to cheat a casino.
Appearance
Shamrock wears black yoga pants, a green sleeveless t-shirt with a clover-leaf symbol on the front in black, and a mask. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Scourge 19.7 </ref> Despite having the tattoo that all Case-53's have she does not have the requisite 'monstrous appearance' to be classified as such.
Abilities and Powers:
Just as there are no true healing powers in Worm, but powers that can be used to heal thorough a combination of luck and skillful application by their user. Similarly, Shamrock does not have true 'luck' powers. Specifically Shamrock's ability uses a mixture of low-strength telekinesis and precognition to make her exceptionally lucky. Bullets that hit exactly where they need to, being untouchable to attacks, all are possible to her.
As a Cauldron cape it is highly likely that this power was specifically constructed to be such.
History
Background
Shamrock was kidnapped from another dimension by Cauldron and experimented on. She was subject number 777. At an unknown point, either before or during the events of Worm, she escaped Cauldron's containment and found herself in Earth Bet. Shamrock is the only person to have escaped from Cauldron's custody. After finding freedom, she circulated through high stakes gambling rings, leveraging her power to her advantage.
Post-ABB battle
Faultline recruited her in spring of 2011. Shamrock assisted Labyrinth in activating a mechanism that flooded the street, dousing fires, during Burnscar's attack.
Post-Slaughterhouse Nine
Shamrock became romantically involved with Gregor, and was with the rest of the crew as they infiltrated Madison.
Golden Morning
In the final hours of Golden Morning Faultline's Crew was relocated the Earth's Bet. As the dying Khepri tried to rally the parahumans against Scion, Shamrock was able to temporary disable a Narwhal using a single bullet. <ref>"Worm" Web Serial, Speck 30.6</ref>
Trivia
- Shamrock's memory was not erased by the Slug. She retains memories of her life before her abduction. Shamrock specifically mentions that she comes from an earth that has more monarchies than Earth Bet or Aleph.
- Like all other Cauldron experimentation subjects, she was marked with the tattoo identifying her as such, despite her entirely normal appearance.
