Venom 29.5 is the fifth chapter of the Venom Arc that covers Scion and the Irregulars' attacks on Cauldron's facilities. It is preceded by Venom 29.4 and followed by Venom 29.6.

Synopsis

The Irregulars rampage through Cauldron. Weaver kills Mantellum, enabling her forces to destroy the mob and make progress to where Doctor Mother is hiding.

Major Events

• The crew of the Dragonfly hide from rampaging Case 53s.
• The mob of Irregulars crucifies The Slug and prepare to go after Doctor Mother.
• Taylor kills Mantellum, enabling Shadow Stalker, Lung, and the Custodian to tear the mob apart.
• The Dragonfly crew manage to break past one of the barriers to Cauldron's panic room and run into a few Vegas capes.
• Scion arrives.
