Glaistig Uaine

A cape that seems much younger than she is, Glaistig Uaine styles herself as a Faerie Queen, and claims that she collects the lesser faerie that grant other parahumans their powers. It is later revealed that she collects the Shards of other parahumans after their deaths. She can recognize the carriers of other important Shards, like the 'Administrator Shard' which is attached to Skitter, and calls these carriers name that she filters through her perception of the world - for example, Eidolon is the 'High Priest'.

Whatever the true nature of her abilities, she can draw in the essence of recently dead parahumans she has come into contact with and store it within herself.  At any one time, she can have two or three of the parahumans she has ‘claimed’ manifest as ghostly spectres, complete with the ability to physically affect the world and use their powers.

By the end of the story she is known to possess Gray Boy, Eidolon, Doormaker, and Clockblocker, among others.

She joins the reincarnation of the Protectorate, called the Wardens, under the new name Valkyrie.
