Empire Eighty-Eight

Empire Eighty-Eight is an organisation of white supremacist supervillains. It is the single largest force of capes in Brockton Bay, and was lead by Kaiser until his death at the hands of Leviathan. After Kaiser's death, it split into two factions - Hookwolf's 'Fenrir's Chosen' and Purity's 'The Pure'.

There are a large number of capes in Empire Eighty-Eight.

• Kaiser was the leader of the organisation
• His ex-wife Purity left for a while, but returned later
• Allfather was Kaiser's father, and formed the Empire, but was already dead at the beginning of the story
• Fenja and Menja were twins who accompanied Kaiser as bodyguards, but Fenja was killed by Leviathan
• Krieg was Kaiser's second in command, but left after Kaiser's death
• Hookwolf originally joined to escape a murder charge from his previous career as a pit fighter, but over time he took on their racist philosophy
• Cricket was originally a pit fighter like Hookwolf
• Night & Fog are a married couple whose powers synergize well
• Viktor was groomed as a potential successor to Kaiser's position
• Crusader is possibly the most normal regular member, apart from the whole 'white supremacist' thing
• Othala is Viktor's wife but they have some severe relationship issues that are unearthed by Tattletale
• Golem is Kaiser's son, but he triggered after he was captured by the Protectorate. He then joined them and became a hero instead. He chose his name to disassociate himself with his racist past.
