Unofficial leader of New Wave, known to the media and the general public as 'Photon Mom', much to her annoyance. Mother of eighteen year old Laserdream and fifteen year old Shielder. Wife of Manpower.
Lady Photon has the ability to create blasts of 'hard light' from her hands, light charged with kinetic energy so it has a physical impact. She can fly, though not so well as her daughter, and create forcefields, though they are not as strong as her son's and they are not rooted in place unless she draws the forcefield as a bubble around herself. She has been seen using forcefields as a first aid measure, shaping them to cover a wound.
Her costume is a white bodysuit with no mask. The bodysuit features a starburst image on the chest, with lines from the star's edges extending around her body, changing color from indigo to purple as it gets further from the center. She shares this gradient coloring with her daughter and son's costumes. She wears a tiara to keep the hair from her face, in the same general style as the starburst image.
Her children appear to have inherited almost her exact powers, though they have their individual strengths.
