Dorothy Schmidt, usually known as Night, was a member of Empire Eighty-Eight and the wife of Fog.

Appearance

Out of costume, Dorothy dresses a little too well for the situation, wearing a dress, lots of makeup, and jewelry.<ref name="18.y">Interlude 18.y</ref>

Abilities and Powers

While unseen, Dorothy transforms into a horrifying monster.  Her Monster form has enhanced speed, strength, and durability and is composed largely of sharp edges and to many legs. Reverting back to her human form instantly "heals" her, effectively "resetting" any damage she takes.   As official sources describe it Night can transform into a "powerful four-dimensional entity"<ref name="list"> {https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pgn9rgYutpBqJg1lSBP3NHnq9WK4ToLq9K4ys_I4cRc/edit#gid=0 Wildbow's Parahuman List]</ref> when unobserved. But does not elaborate if it is psychological or some form of the Observer effect

Equipment

Because her transformation only occurs when she is unseen, she uses an assortment of tools to blind her foes, including flash bang grenades and a large removable cloak, with mini-hooks on the outer surface, designed to cover her enemies.
