The Golden Age was a brief period following the appearance of parahumans.

Prelude

Events

The first parahuman to publicly appear was Vikare.

During the Golden Age, superheroism was the expectation of everyone with powers. The term "rogue" was coined during this time.<ref name="20.x">20.x (Donation Interlude 1; Stan)</ref>

Vikare's death is generally considered the end of the Golden Age.<ref name="20.x"/>

Trivia

The "Golden Age" is also a term for the early days of superhero comics, which may suggest that Worm's historical "Golden Age" resembled or was inspired by this era of comics.
