Going to the Sermon the Man Elijah preaches the groups creed and proves to be everything Rain has come to hate. Talking to Erin they decide to leave early leaving bryce there, they are feed up with the Fallen.

Later Rain and his friends listen in on Snag and Love Lost talking to an experienced assassin planning Rain's prolonged death. Rain panics and runs coming to a stop a far distance away only for Tristan to show up, having followed him. Tristan tries to convince his friend to open up to the group about his past but Rain is still reticent. Tristan's timer goes off and he switches out with Byron who allows Rain to leave.
