History

Background

Drillbit resided in The City after Gold Morning.

Drillbit is a cape who suffers with addiction. His addiction to substances got him into trouble several times, as he would often get into cape fights while inebriated, get arrested, and break out of prison, often letting other prisoners out as he did so.<ref>Drillbit had harmed himself enough with his addictions that he could no longer be trusted. The loop had repeated too many times. He wouldn’t get better and didn’t want to get better, and he would either engage in a cape fight while inebriated or drive inebriated on his way to or from a cape fight, and he couldn’t drive while brimming with enough chemicals to kill another man. He would get arrested, even cooperate sometimes, get pulled into jail, enter withdrawals, and break out, sometimes letting other prisoners free.- Black 13.1</ref>

Post-Time Bubble Pop

Drillbit was eventually captured by the heroes, and exiled to an alternate earth, where he could no longer wreak havoc. He agreed with this choice, saying he did not want to hurt any more people.<ref>“Send me,” Drillbit said. “Don’t send any strong medications with me. It might be the only way I live out the rest of my life. I’ve hurt too many people.”- Black 13.1</ref>
