Laserdream
Laserdream is the eldest member of New Wave's second generation, at nineteen. She has a powerset almost identical to her mother, Lady Photon and her brother Shielder, with flight, the ability to project 'hard light' blasts and a personal forcefield.
Laserdream wears a white skintight costume with both her headband and her personal emblem (an arrow with lines radiating behind it and around her back to her arms and down her legs) in a red and magenta gradient. She styles her blonde hair so it covers part of her face.
She lost both her father Manpower and her little brother Shielder in the Endbringer attack, having personally witnessed at least her brother's death. Due to these casualties and the head injury suffered by her uncle Flashbang, the team may be disbanding, and her plans post-New Wave are yet unknown.
Powers
Of the trio that includes her mother and brother, Laserdream is the best flier and has the most powerful 'lasers', and she says as much in Extermination 8.5, with her mother corroborating this by conceding that Laserdream would be the most effective carrying Skitter and fighting against Leviathan. This suggests that Laserdream's ratings for her Mover and Blaster classifications are higher than her mother's. Her forcefields, however, are weaker than any of her immediate family members, and it was at least partially due to the failure of her forcefield bubble that her brother was seized and killed by Leviathan.

- Laserdream's 'color' on the team is pink, not red, despite what her costume might imply.
- Her name is an amalgymation of 'laserbeam' and 'dream' in the 'that person is dreamy' sense.
